The incredible transforming man
Welcome to the circus of life
Watch me at the freak show
Switch masks more or as much as
A man trying to forget himself
To forget how he gets used to and
Finds the flaws in all
The personaes he is today
A harlequin man willing always
To taste food he doesn’t have
Why think when I can
Breathe in impulse
Change face with the pass of a hand
I’ll lose myself tomorrow with a little fear
And a little anger because of a little fear
For changing
Maybe I’ll become a person who
Doesn’t mind a lil fear or a lil change
But hey, come here, a lil secret
That stuff will never change
But shhh, I don’t want to be a man who
Can’t change, not now, not today
So with a pass of a hand,
A pass of fear,
A pass of anger
I will fly like a phoenix
Toward a new day, with a differently
Tinted sun
My mask pleasing the crowd below
One day wanted, dead or alive
Another, behind the scenes pulling strings
Next week, a tool used too much
Who decides to revolt, like a machine
Raging against
Only to realize that the real fight’s inside
Well bring it on cause
Today I’m ready
To push the world to cross my line
But when it’s all over and blown wide
I will change what I feel inside
Pass that hand
And wonder why
Everyone has to die
Life is a theater
And I’m willing to perform
Each and every role.
