Love Artist Kathe Izzo’s global TRUE LOVE PROJECT (www.trueloveproject.com), in which she pledges to freely fall in love with her audience -- and for that matter, the world -- one day, one lover at a time, unconditionally and with unmitigated passion, is a traveling performance designed for an audience of one (or in special cases, small groups of friends or family members). The project may be experienced in a multitude of ways, from the pure form -- a 24 hour love appointment with the artist (now a rare commodity) & many other shorter, traveling forms of love theater.

THEATRE OF LOVE
For the period of one week (approx) Love Artist kathe izzo will inhabit an office headquarters, located in a public venue, and book private appointments in installation and throughout the city for specific kinds of theatre:
eating theatre, sleeping theatre, looking at art theatre, relationship theatre, writing theatre, lounging theatre, friendship theatre, mothering theatre, motherless theatre, yoga theatre, standing amongst the trees theatre, rummaging through past and/or present desire theatre, among others.
Performance appointment times will vary with the type of theatre requested. Single audiences or couples only.
Love performances are available on either a walk-in basis or by reservation. Appointments need only be for a few moments or may last as long as an hour. During these moments you will be in full energetic contact with Kathe, as deeply as you desire or feel comfortable. You will not be rushed nor will you share your time with anyone else, unless you choose the advanced love option.
Locations may vary from kiosks set up in public spaces such as galleries, theatre & hotel
lobbies, department stores and night clubs to more private locations such as bathrooms,
balconies and truck cabs. Some refreshment is often provided and the
surroundings are usually aesthetically pleasing.

SAFE PASSAGE
Offering herself as a 'sovereign ship of companionship with which to cross the voyage of night,' and 'nocturnal body guard,' Love Artist Kathe Izzo will create a small and secure fort within a gallery environment (or other applicable space: storefront, performance space) and will then invite her audience to stay with her overnight through a series of scheduled private appointments. She promises to stay up all night and watch over her art patrons as they sleep, taking care of whatever comfort needs they may have in order to ensure them a secure night's sleep. The artist will sleep publicly during the day. There will be special seating within the fort for the public to psychically care for and nourish the artist while she sleeps.

THE LOVE SHACK
Love Artist Kathe Izzo builds a home, cutting across class, race, sexuality, gender and age lines. Constructing a portable "home" from cardboard boxes and various found and cherished materials, she will invite the public at large to join her in a series of intimate love appointments, bringing with them various collaborative materials, from the practical (building materials and home furnishings) to the ephemeral (cherished belongings and love relics). Together, the artist and the community will develop a new template of home and love.
Beginning with a simple skeleton box structure and working with the most rudimentary tools and materials, Izzo will be scheduling her usual love appointments of an hour or less. A simple transportable kitchen will be in place for impromptu entertaining.
Although her love will be no less profound than her usual devotion, the love will take place through action – each appointment making a loving contribution to the building of this home as a model of a larger more inclusive community. Scheduled appointments will be invited to bring offerings and additions to the space. Walk-in viewings and participation will be encouraged.
In addition to Izzo's popular one-on-one performances, the continuously evolving space will be home to several public events, such as salons, invitational dinners and parties.
